When Hanuman introduced Ram and Sugreev to each other, he created a ritual sacrifice to help Sugreev focus on his commitment to Ram. Later, when Sugreev committed an offense towards Laxman by occupying his seat, Hanuman corrected the mistake by bringing a better tree branch and inviting Laxman to take his seat. By choosing to sit on the floor next to Laxman's feet, Hanuman showed his sensitivity towards others' feelings and impressed Lord Rama.
